What to do when the old concept of home is destroyed, and the new one is still in the process of formation? What is a home? Artist Maria looks at this concept from a different angle.

     The project is divided into two parts:

     The first part shows a chair made of transparent paper, imitating furniture from the Nelimarkka residence, where Maria currently lives. A safe place creates a feeling of comfort, but at the same time, worries about loved ones and the future prevent relaxation.

   The second part is presented in the form of a fragment of the wall, where photos, drawings, found and private artifacts are placed. This is a kind of documentary retrospective, recorded by Leonova during his last trip home to Kyiv. The process of fixing this path helps to accept reality as it is and not to forget the main thing. After all, the meaning of home covers all spheres of human life: man, landscape, culture, statehood, city, specific house, friends and parents. In this way, there is a reunion with the roots that formed it.
